I feel that the easiest, quickest & most delicious thing you can do to improve your health is to get into making GREEN SMOOTHIES! Many of you out there are already familiar with this fabulous creation. For those of you who aren't, feel free to watch this quick video I made about why it's so important to get on the green smoothie train! Woo Woo!!! If you've never made a green smoothie before, here are a couple I recommend you start off with: Smoothie #1- 1 frozen banana, ¾ cup- 1 cup cherries, approx. 2 cups of baby spinach, approx. ½ cup water- Blend & enjoy! FYI, you don't have to freeze the banana, but I do because it makes the smoothie taste like icecream! Smoothie #2- 1 banana, ½ cup frozen mango, ½ orange or a whole one if it's small, approx. 2 cups baby spinach, approx. ½ cup water- Blend and enjoy! If you don't like banana or any of the other fruits I mentioned... well, don't add them. Add the fruit you do like. It's pretty simple. :) P.S. Buy organic & local produce if you can.
